SECTION 1.
Sir J. Jordan to Sir Edward Grey.--(Received May 31.)
(Telegraphic.) P.
TIEN-TSIN-PUKOW Railway.
Peking, May 31, 1909.
I consulted Hillier on receipt of your telegram No. 99 of the 27th instant. He tells me that he is awaiting the final decision of the Chinese, who appear to be anxious for the issue of the British share of the balance of the railway loan simultaneously with that of the Germans.
